Decided this morning to drive the car up the 'mountain' (440m) to take some pictures in somewhat nice light. Enjoy the shots!

If you come from the Passau area and know the car please get in touch :-).

204 horses right there (it's the 2.7, not the later 3.0).

In the highest suspension setting it really looks ridiculous, I'm happy they never did an CX/Allroad/Cross version ;-)

In the lowest mode the car looks quite sporty from the side. A C6(-shaped) WTCC car would have been great, even though that would have been as disturbing as the Volvo 850 wagon they had in the UK.

I love the wheels.

Unfortunately not the 'Pack Lounge' TGV-inspired chairs, but at least we can take the back down now.

Nice to see some more Norwegians here! I'm sure a lot of guys here are jealous/fascinated by your car, it's even a rare sight here. I can see the advantages by having a high setting for the suspension too, in the winter and the occasional rutted gravel roads we have here.

So, what's this "mountain" then?

Drove up Frognerseteren, lots of empty space for still being in the city.

The suspension thing is though that the highest setting is really only for up to 10kph, the medium one goes up to 40 though, still not that useful, but driving on a gravel road at more than 40 without rally tires/with a 2 tonne car is probably not a good idea anyway.

Okay, thought it would be in that area looking at the plates.

Yeah, I guess it is just for getting over tricky stuff. Driving faster on a gravel road with a heavy car is possible, and can be quite amusing. Until it goes wrong, that is..

Very nice!

If I had a car company, I'd try desperately to avoid making a crossover by making a big-ish hatchback and then giving it an adjustable ride height (hopefully air suspension rather than hydraulic, although whichever's less complicated is fine) so they can pretend it's a pretend off-roader like all the Kugas and CX-5s out there.

I seriously have to get one of these in the US. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I will get one.

Somehow. Because I need a large French saloon.
